Bioperine® (piperine extract)

Bioperine is derived from black pepper, a spice most households have in the kitchen cupboard. Black pepper derives from the black pepper plant native to Southern India, where the berries from the plant are harvested just prior to ripening, and then sun dried to assure optimum maturity and quality. This new generation of supplement technology stems from the ancient Indian medical practice of the Ayurvedic. A compound called Piperine in the form of Bioperine comes from an extract of the small pepper berry. Piperine has been shown to significantly enhance the absorption of various supplemented nutrients, while generating an increase in metabolic action to help support fat loss. Some of the clinical trials showed that Bioperine is a "natural Thermonutrient and bioavailability enhancer." As a Thermonutrient, Bioperine is scientifically linked to having a thermogenic effect on the body's metabolic rate. The higher the metabolic rate, the more heat energy is produced by the body, therefore, enhancing the fat burning process. A series of chain reactions take place in the body through which Bioperine is able to enhance the absorption of other nutrients. The chemical and physiological reactions that are set in motion after ingesting Bioperine increase body heat, increase nutrient absorption, and increase digestive processing.

The doses of Bioperine recommended for bioavailability enhancement are relatively low. According to the research, the dose of pure piperine range between 2.5-15 mg per dose, used 1-3 times a day.
